THE family of a man who died in the United States has launched a GoFundMe appeal to help raise money for the repatriation of his body to his native Namibia for burial.
The appeal seeks to raise about US$15,000.
Below is the message accompanying the appeal which was organised by Edwin Kaambo;
“It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of dear Uncle Oscar Crosby Ravangua Kandjavera, a long-time resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Uncle Crosby passed away on December 30, 2023 after a long illness.
During this difficult time for the Kandjavera family, we are appealing to you for your support and generosity in assisting the family repatriate his remains back to Namibia.
We are reaching out to our beloved Namibian family and friends to support the wishes of the family. We appreciate any amount of monetary donation towards the repatriation efforts.”
