On Saturday, 26th November 2022, Ghana Social Workers Association (GHASWA) organised their End Year Dinner Dance at White Diamond 141-143 Foleshill Road, Coventry CV1-4LF
The last time GHASWA gathered to celebrate the end-of-year dinner dance was in 2019. It was such a fantastic time for old friends and colleagues to catch up again to have a great time together since Covid-19 made it impossible for them to meet for their annual celebration for the past 3years.
A special Guest at the event was Dr Botchway, the Chairman of Ghana Union, Midlands.
In his keynote address to the Members of the Ghana Social Workers Association. He expressed his profound gratitude to the leadership and the whole members of GHASWA for their relentless service to their communities and their yearly donations to underprivileged societies in Ghana. He charged the members to unite and work collectively to make a difference in people’s lives.
He extended warm greetings from HIS EXCELLENCY PAPA OWUSU ANKOMAH to the entire GHASWA members that their work is noticed, and the commission appreciates whatever they are accomplishing they should edge on; he wishes them Merry Christmas and a blissful New Year.
Chairman of GHASWA Midlands, Mr Affram, took to the stage and thanked members of GHASWA for staying together all these years, and he prays more and more people would come and join the Association. Some executives were awarded for their outstanding contributions and commitment during the covid times. The Association is looking forward to meeting again next year for another beautiful event.
