A few words from Samuel
Hi, we are fundraising for our 19 year old friend who sadly passed away this week. We cannot believe such a young, impressionable friend like Rio left us so early and suddenly. We are all still in shock and want to try to support his family in any way possible.
Rio’s family would like to send him to Kenya to have his funeral there as many of his family members and relatives reside there. The repatriation of a body to Kenya from the UK costs upwards of £4000.
Although, none of us can ease their pain, we can come together and help support this beautiful family and give Rio a send off that he truly deserves. The last thing we would like the Kariuki family to be thinking about is how to pay for the repatriation and also fund a service to honour the life of their loved one.
The donations from this fundraiser will be passed on to Rio’s mother, who we admire greatly for staying strong and providing support to all the people around her.
