A FUNDING appeal has been launched for a Tanzanian woman who died tragically during child birth in Germany.
Winnie Obura (Mrutu) worked as the head of an Advent Kindergarten in Darmstadt, “where she was deeply committed to supporting children from all kinds of backgrounds”.
A message accompanying the appeal described Winnie as a “strong and compassionate woman deeply rooted in Darmstadt, passed away during the birth of her fourth child”.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news that Winnie Obura (Mrutu passed away,” reads a message accompanying the funding appeal.
The devote mother of four beautiful children – three sons and a newborn daughter – “was not only a loving mother, but also a beloved figure in the community. Her passion, warmth, and tireless care touched many families’ lives”.
“Her sudden passing has left her family in deep grief and facing significant financial challenges,” the appeal added.
“Her fiancée, Gerald, is now left to care for their children alone. In addition to coping with this heartbreaking loss, he is burdened with the costs of the education, rent, and daily living expenses.
“We are reaching out to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time.
“Whether through a financial contribution or simply by sharing this campaign, every gesture counts and brings hope and relief to the family.”
