“Help for the Family of Kenechukwu Benedict Chukwuma, A father Gone Too Soon

Kene is a 33 years old male who came into the UK in 2022. Kene was a devoted, caring, loving father, husband, friend, and committed student at Oxford Brookes University. Kene sadly passed away on 4/11/2024 after collapsing, leaving behind his wife and two young kids (3 months old and 2 years old).
He was a loving father and husband, easygoing and focused. He has always prioritized his family and studies.
Kene came to Oxford Brookes University in the hope of building a better future for his family. Kene was a generous soul whose gentle spirit impacted everyone he came across, he was kind, compassionate, determined, and committed to all he loved.
This GoFundMe was created to help alleviate some of the immediate financial concerns for his wife and children during this tragic and stressful time on an emotional and financial level. This is to help with the cost of repatriation of the body back to Nigeria, funeral cost, the family, and Kene’s children in the months to come!!
Please help us keep Kene’s memory alive by contributing to this campaign in any way you can or by sharing this campaign broadly. Your contribution — no matter how small — will help this young family build their home as they face the road ahead without a husband and father.
Let us rally around Kene’s family in his absence as he would have done for all of us during this difficult time, thank you all for your generosity, kindness, and support.”
