Nanzelani Sebata is organising this fundraising appeal on behalf of Charity Dube. Hi it is with great sadness that we have lost our dear brother here in Ireland. We have no answers on what occurred for him to take his life. Mike has two sisters here in Europe. Tynwald High School accident victims get an emotional send off

A convoy of cars stretched along Domboshava road to Glen Forest Memorial Park to lay to rest six Tynwald High students who perished in an accident that occured in Nyanga last Friday night. The children died when a school bus they were travelling in veered off the road and overturned after the driver failed to negotiate a curve. IRELAND: Zimbabwean dad and daughter (5) among victims of petrol station blast

By BBC News A ZIMBABWEAN dad and his five-year-old daughter were among the 10 people killed by an explosion at a petrol station in County Donegal in the Republic of Ireland. The victims of Friday’s disaster include five-year-old Shauna Flanagan Garwe and her dad Robert Garwe, 50. The explosion happened in the village of Creeslough in the north-west of Ireland. A man in his 20s is critically ill in St James’s Hospital in Dublin. Tino Nyandoro: Stanford University student and community activist killed in road crash on Zim visit

Chimurenga music percussionist, Lancelot Mapfumo dies

Lancelot, who was a percussionist in the Blacks Unlimited Band, succumbed to bone cancer, Sunday in the USA where he was living. He had missed several shows where the band performed as he was unwell for some time. Mapfumo’s former publicist, Blessing Vava confirmed the news. Paraffin’s Mai Sorobhi dies aged 79

By Paidashe Mandivengerei LOCAL veteran actress Rhoda Mtembe who played the witty Mai Sorobhi in yesteryear’s drama series Paraffin has died. Mtembe succumbed to a stroke Monday. She was 79. Her grandson, comedian Admire ‘Bhutisi’ Kuzhangaira confirmed the news. He said: “My grandmother Mai Sorobhi is no more. She was struck twice. As she was recovering, she was attacked again last week”.
