- Draft and edit high-quality press releases, media pitches, statements, holding lines, reactive comments, articles, opinion pieces, interview notes, FAQs, Q&As, briefing documents, speeches, award entries, speaker proposals, case studies and customer-impact stories.
- Coordinate internal fact-checking, evidence gathering, approvals and FCA-compliant sign-off for all external statements, ensuring that claims, figures, testimonials, product descriptions, regulatory references and disclaimers are accurate and substantiated.
- Manage routine press-office administration, including media enquiries, interview requests, deadlines, spokesperson availability, briefing packs, interview logistics, recording links, follow-up information and coverage collection.

- Maintain the magazine production schedule and editorial standards, ensure every issue reflects the global brand while remaining locally relevant, and secure useful contributions from leadership, employees, customers, partners, communities and subject-matter experts.
- Identify suitable commercial, editorial or distribution partnerships for the company magazine, prepare proposals and business cases, coordinate agreed deliverables and track readership, engagement, distribution and partner value.
- Research, assess and maintain a pipeline of PR and media partnerships, including diaspora publications, radio stations, podcasts, business platforms, community organisations, industry media and event organisers.

- Proactively pitch Diaspora Insurance and approved leaders for suitable speaking opportunities; prepare speaker proposals, abstracts, biographies, headshots, presentation briefs, talking points and supporting evidence.
- Coordinate accepted speaking engagements, including organiser liaison, deadlines, presentation assets, travel logistics with the Events team, compliance review, rehearsal support, media amplification and post-event follow-up.
