Diaspora Insurance Announces Winners of 2025 Giving Back Draw Results

In a moment celebrated across the African continent, Diaspora Insurance has concluded its highly anticipated 2025 Giving Back Charity Campaign draw, reaffirming the company’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and community empowerment.
The live draw took place on 28 November at Diaspora Insurance’s Birmingham headquarters and was attended by a diverse African community representing various countries, reflecting the unity of the company’s client base.
The event featured notable personalities who actively participated in the live draw, including:

• Zimbabwean musician Baba Harare
•Senegalese community leader in Manchester, Papa Thiare
• Pastor Caroline Shiko Kungu from Kenya
• Conrad Mwanza, Director of Zim Achievers and Destiny Media Group CEO
• Ugandan musicians Rhoda Shelbie and George Will Dive
• Music promoter and community leader Joseph Kiggundu – Uganda
• Dr Taiwo Adeniyi – Nigeria
• Light of African UK chairman Oyewoga Olukorede – Nigeria
Their involvement highlighted a spirit of unity, celebration, and shared purpose. The draw was streamed live worldwide, ensuring transparency for all participants.
Commitment to Fairness and transparency
Head of Compliance, Barbra Lamba, emphasized the integrity of the process:
“Today’s draw was conducted openly and impartially. From nomination collection to the final selection, everything was designed to be fair, balanced, and fully transparent so that our clients could trust the outcome.”
The draw used a randomised, independently monitored system, with observers confirming that no external influence affected the results.

Supporting the Charities
Each winning charity will receive £1,000 as part of their festive celebration. Meanwhile, the Diaspora Insurance team is expected to conduct due diligence on the recipients to ensure the funds are used effectively and transparently for community impact.
With the winners selected, Diaspora Insurance will begin preparations for its 2025 charity mission, providing comprehensive support tailored to the needs of each community.
