HUNDREDS of people thronged the Chapelfield Gardens in Norwich this past Saturday to, again, enjoy a vibrant celebration of eclectic of African culture, music, and culinary delights!
Returning for its second year running, and sponsored by Diaspora Insurance among others, Afri-Fest East lived up to its billing, livening up the gardens with high-energy Afrobeats, live sets and a vibrant crowd.
The only black festival in East Anglia drew enthusiasts from diaspora communities of countries such as Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Namibia, and Zimbabwe among others as well as dozens of locals.
Afri-Fest is supported by Arts Council England and Norfolk Community Foundation, as part of the 2025 UK/Kenya season of culture in collaboration with the British Council and Africa Centre London.
