On October 8, Miritonia held a fundraising dinner in Arendok, Belgium with proceeds going towards disadvantaged children in Kenya. Miritonia is a Belgian based charity that helps the disadvantaged kids in Kenya with school fees and educational material. Hellen Wendy Mabuto died while live streaming from a hotel pool. Like many in their early 20s, Helen Wendy would often connect with friends and family online. She was a very outgoing girl, hard-working, and passionate. She really liked working with the seniors. Kenyans in the diaspora on August 27 came together at the 9th edition of the Kenyan Barbecue Paris. The networking event organised by Paris BBQ Committee was sponsored by Diaspora Insurance and held at the Le Seine River on Paris outskirts.
