On October 8, Miritonia held a fundraising dinner in Arendok, Belgium with proceeds going towards disadvantaged children in Kenya.
Miritonia is a Belgian based charity that helps the disadvantaged kids in Kenya with school fees and educational material.
In the last two years they have provided support to rural farmers during the Covid-19 pandemic that threatened people’s livelihoods.
The charity is run by a couple, Hellen and Marco Muthoni.

Hellen Wendy Mabuto died while live streaming from a hotel pool.
Like many in their early 20s, Helen Wendy would often connect with friends and family online. She was a very outgoing girl, hard-working, and passionate. She really liked working with the seniors.
The 24-year old personal support worker drowned while live streaming herself swimming in a Chatsworth motel pool two weeks ago in Canada. Kenyan Women in Germany (KWIG) on September 3 hosted their annual networking event headline sponsored by Diaspora Insurance.
The event held in Mainz, Germany, was attended by hundreds of guests including Kenyan Ambassador to Germany, His Excellence Tom Amolo.
KWIG was founded by Jacky Kuhn to create a community for Kenyan women building lives in Germany after moving from their home country and provides them with social, economical, emotional and professional support. Kenyans in the diaspora on August 27 came together at the 9th edition of the Kenyan Barbecue Paris.
The networking event organised by Paris BBQ Committee was sponsored by Diaspora Insurance and held at the Le Seine River on Paris outskirts.

African diasporans on Saturday flocked to the Kenyans in Reading Family Fun Day sponsored by Diaspora Insurance.
The event brought together hundreds of Kenyans, Tanzanians, Ugandans, Malawians, Zambians and Zimbabweans across the United Kingdom.
Guests enjoyed sporting activities including 100m races, tug of war, basketball, football and jumping castles for kids and treated themselves to Kenyan cuisines, drinks and music.

GERMANY based Kenyan influencer and motivational speaker, Joy Wanjiru Machugu-Zenz (pictured) has applauded Diaspora Insurance describing it as the provider of the ‘perfect insurance product’ that comes in handy to African diasporans.
Zenz who founded the African Women In Europe (AWE) said this as her association partnered with Diaspora Insurance. She also clinched a brand ambassador deal with the United Kingdom headquartered company.
